报告摘要：Recent studies have shown that tumors often display startling intratumoral heterogeneity, which is often associated with adverse tumor biology. Unfortunately, it is difficult to assess intratumoral heterogeneity with random sampling or biopsy as this does not represent the full extent of phenotypic or genetic variation within a tumor. Given the limitations of current biopsy strategies, there is an important potential for medical imaging, which has the ability to capture intratumoral heterogeneity in a noninvasive way. CT or MR based radiomics reflecting intratumoral heterogeneity has been currently playing a major role in clinical diagnosis, staging, prognosis, and assessment of response to treatment. However, PET (positron emission tomography) imaging is more close to tumor biology. In this talk, PET based radiomics and its limitations will be discussed.

个人简介： 颜建华，2007年博士毕业于华中科技大学电子科学与技术专业，同年进入美国耶鲁大学PET中心做博士后研究，主要从事核医学影像物理，PET图像重建，图像分析以及药物动力学建模。2010年底加入PET/CT发明者David Townsend教授领导的新加坡科技研究局临床影像研究中心，任职于高级研究员, 主要从事定量化 PET/CT 和PET/MR成像以及临床应用，参与以及主持了多项重大科研项目，对PET/CT和PET/MR系统，临床后期处理以及PET/CT和PET/MR临床应用具有丰富的经验，并开展了基于影像的大数据分析相关工作。2015年9月加入浙江明峰医疗股份有限公司担任首席影像科学家，致力于低成本的PET/CT 和PET/MR研发生产以及临床应用。同时担任山西医科大学分子影像精准诊疗协同创新中心兼职教授。颜建华博士多次在医学成像国际会议上做口头报告以及在核医学成像技术和临床应用的一流期刊（IEEE Transaction on Medical Imaging 和Journal of Nuclear Medicine）发表文章，并担任这两个期刊的审稿人。
